Congestion Charging

“Congestion Charging” in West London is due to be scrapped in 2010, but until then, it still affects those of our clients who are not resident in Kensington & Chelsea, yet attend the Abingdon Clinic. All the residents of K&C still receive a daily discount from Transport for London, regardless of whether they live in the zone or not. The charge operates Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 18:00. Weekends are exempt.

We offer a recurring £5 discount on any service (consultations or surgery only) to those clients who reside outside the zone and who can only attend the Abingdon Clinic and only within C-charge hours eg emergencies or eg for dropping off pets in the morning for an opertaion on that same day.

We can also offer free board if your pet is dropped off at night for an operation scheduled for the next day. We also suggest utilising our branch in Grove Park, only 3 miles down the Cromwell Road/A4, where parking is easy and unrestricted. Both clinics have equal access to the database, and as our vets rotate between them, you can always chose who you want to see and where! (See “contact us”).

Abingdon Clinic is open on Sats from 09:00 to 15:00 when there is no charge. We might extend these hours and will also consider Sunday opening in the future.
